Bring greater joy, peace and simplicity to your life this Easter. Join Stephanie Dowrick for the annual Retreat at Easter at Mana Retreat Centre. 2-6 April 2015
“I know what a different person I would have been without Stephanie’s wonderful teachings at Mana. It’s because of her encouragement and wise words that I am able to live my life with courage and conviction.” Jude F.
Dr Stephanie Dowrick will again lead the annual Retreat at Easter, a highlight in Mana’s year and in Stephanie’s. This is a genuinely inclusive spiritual retreat open to all genuine seekers of a kinder, more compassionate and more peace-giving life. The retreat begins before dinner on Thursday 2 April (please allow time to register and settle in). It ends after lunch on 6 April. The theme for 2015 is REDISCOVERING SIMPLICITY and Stephanie will introduce some accessible but profound and potentially life-changing ideas to live with greater harmony within and friendliness to ourselves and others. She will also be supporting participants to deepen or refresh their daily practices of insight, reflection and meditation. Stephanie Dowrick draws on the great wisdom teachings of all the faith traditions and presents them with her life-long psychological insight and ethical clarity. There is also ample time for questions, discussion and rest. We will have a beautiful inclusive service and celebration on Sunday in Mana’s famous Sanctuary. Mana is also famed for the delicious vegetarian food, exquisite landscapes and – perhaps most precious of all – their unstinting kindness which so beautifully supports the messages of kindness and compassion that Stephanie brings.
