Are you ready to be inspired through music, words that are truly sacred, joyous, and profoundly uplifting?
Saturday, 8 September, at 7pm for 7.30 start, Pitt Street (264) Uniting Church, Sydney 2000 Dr Kim Cunio and Reverend Dr Stephanie Dowrick, pioneers in 2006 of “Interfaith in Sydney” present their ONLY public concert of the year. Performers: Nicholas Ng, Heather Lee, Anna McDonald, Elizabeth Lecoanet, Isabel Jiang, Jolyon Bromley, Samarai Cunio, plus Dr Kim Cunio (performing and musical direction) and Rev Dr Stephanie Dowrick (performing, writing and co-direction). The program will include heart-healing sensitive new and ancient renditions of the Psalms, plus a long ensemble piece based on the work of Sufi poet Rumi; divinely-inspired music from Hildegard von Bingen; an Alleluia medley; and Chinese/Eastern/Persian/Indian music to deepen the intimacy and the universality of this rare musical experience. Our musicians are outstanding, bringing to their work rare performance skills and also a deep immersion in spirituality. This concert is part of the Sacred Music Festival 2018.
Tickets are available using credit card via this EVENTBRITE LINK .
We will also have tickets for sale at the door, plus CDs and books. ALL SALES ON THE NIGHT ARE CASH ONLY AS WE DON’T HAVE CREDIT CARD FACILITIES ON SITE. We have kept the cost as reasonable as possible ($25) to support our musicians and donate to PITT STREET UNITING CHURCH, but also make it possible for many to come. We would deeply appreciate it if you could share details via email or social media.
Come, come, whoever you are –
Wanderer, worshipper, lover of leaving –

Come, even if you have broken your vows
a hundred times – Come, come again, come!
